Portraits and Props is more than a location, it is a collaborative ecosystem designed to elevate the photographic arts. From curated prop collections to state-of-the-art studio facilities, we provide the canvas for your next masterpiece.

Bronze Arts Award

Designed for ages 11–14 (open to 11–25). Qualification works at GCSE grades D–G / 3–1 standard.

Designed for ages 14–16 (open to 11–25). Qualification works at GCSE grades A*–C / 9–4 standard.

Photo Walks

Refresh your analogue camera skills whilst exploring East London with an ‘eazzy.space’ guide. Gain creative inspiration and new perspectives.


Mentorship

An individually tailored package to develop your photographic eye, personal style, and conduct in-depth outcome analysis.

Institutions

Working in partnership with schools to provide group participation sessions tailored to expand curriculums into analogue photography.

Dark Room Courses

Introduction to controlled Dark Room development and printing, empowering participants to build and facilitate a “home darkroom”.

Bronze Arts Award

Bronze Arts Award is designed for ages 11–14, but is open to anyone aged 11 to 25. This qualification involves working at the same standard as GCSE grades D–G/3–1.
To achieve the Bronze Award, participants must achieve:
  • Development of interests, knowledge and skills through active participation in analogue photography
  • Experience of at least one photographic event/experience as an audience member
  • Research into the work of a photographer that inspires them
  • Experience of passing on an arts skill

  • 40 hours guided
  • 20 hours independent

£599 + £150 film (x10 rolls) & development allowance

  • Participant will not be expected to their own cameras. Various cameras, will be provided. . The use of cameras will be decided together based on ability and interest.
  • Unused film will be refunded

Silver Arts Award

Silver Arts Award is designed for ages 14–16, but is open to anyone aged 11 to 25. Qualification involves working at the same standard as GCSE grades A*–C/9–4.

To achieve the Silver Award, the participant must achieve the following:

Unit 1: Challenge and Pathway:

  • Identify and plan a photography challenge
  • Implement and review the photography challenge
  • Review photographic events/experiences
  • Undertake photographic research

Unit 2: Leadership- Exhibition

  • Identify leadership role and plan a public exhibition (at 49 Fashion Street)
  • Plan the practical issues
  • Demonstrate effective leadership
  • Work effectively with others
  • Review/critic the exhibition

Hours
  • 60 hours guided
  • 35 hours independent

£799 + £225 film (x15 rolls) & development allowance

We understand that inspiring creativity from a young age is paramount as part of a comprehensive education. Digital and AI models are fast replacing traditional methods; however, we believe analogue photography provides something essential—a meeting point for science and creativity.

We collaborate with schools and colleges to reintroduce analogue photography into mainstream education through group participation and lectures tailored to your institution’s core values.
